The excursion includes roasting sausages and enjoying hot drinks, all while cosying up in a spacious and warm Kota, a traditional Lappish hut. Inside, you can relax, watch the Northern Lights, and marvel at the silent beauty of Lapland's winter.

This experience is made for guests who want the atmosphere of an aurora night without standing outside for the whole evening. The Kota gives you a comfortable base: you can step outside to look at the sky, return to the fire to warm up, and enjoy the night at an easy pace.
Palojärvi is a peaceful location away from the strongest village lights, which makes the surroundings feel open, quiet and authentic. Even when the aurora takes its time, the evening still feels complete with firelight, stories and the stillness of the frozen lake.

The tour is suitable for couples, families and small groups looking for a relaxed winter evening. Up to eight guests can join the same trip, so the atmosphere is social rather than intimate. Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed, but the guide follows the conditions and helps you enjoy the best possible experience.

Meeting Point
The experience takes place at Palojärvi, a peaceful lake a short drive from Rovaniemi. You'll receive the exact meeting point and directions in your booking confirmation. Please arrive on time so the group can settle into the Kota together.
Important Notes
- Solo travellers are welcome to book. Each tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to run. If the minimum is not reached, the tour will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
- Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon and a sighting can never be guaranteed. The warm Kota lets you enjoy the evening whether or not the aurora appears.
- If weather conditions make it unlikely to see the aurora, we will cancel the tour and provide a full refund.
- By participating you agree that photos taken on the trip may be used publicly on our website and social media channels.
- The evening lasts several hours and takes place outdoors and in the hut, dress for cold weather.

Elämys toteutetaan Palojärvellä, rauhallisella järvellä lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Rovaniemeltä. Saat tarkan kokoontumispaikan ja ajo-ohjeet varausvahvistuksessa. Saavuthan ajoissa, jotta ryhmä pääsee asettumaan kotaan yhdessä.
