Our guide has in-depth knowledge of the region's weather conditions and aurora activity, sharing fascinating stories about Lapland's magic and guiding you to the best spots where the Northern Lights shine brightest.
A small-group aurora evening
The tour takes place at a fixed location in the Rovaniemi area. We do not drive across the border into Sweden, the evening stays close to home and focused on one carefully chosen spot.
With a maximum of four guests, the evening feels closer to a private tour than a group excursion. Your guide has time for everyone, and there's no waiting around for others to be ready.
The evening is built around patience, local knowledge and the atmosphere of the polar night. Instead of rushing through a fixed programme, the guide reads the weather, light pollution and sky conditions to give you the best chance to enjoy the night.
You will have time to slow down, look at the sky properly and enjoy the feeling of being away from the city lights. If the aurora appears, the guide helps you recognise the movement and enjoy the moment without hurry.

Pienryhmän revontuli-ilta
Retki toteutetaan kiinteällä paikalla Rovaniemen alueella. Emme aja rajalle Ruotsiin, vaan ilta pysyy lähellä kotiseutua ja keskittyy yhteen huolella valittuun paikkaan.
Enintään neljä vierasta kerrallaan, joten ilta tuntuu lähempänä yksityiseltä retkeltä kuin isolta ryhmäretkeltä. Oppaalla on aikaa jokaiselle, eikä tarvitse odottaa muiden valmistautumista.
Ilta rakentuu kärsivällisyyden, paikallistuntemuksen ja kaamoksen tunnelman ympärille. Kiinteän ohjelman sijaan opas seuraa säätä, valosaastetta ja taivaan olosuhteita, jotta saat parhaan mahdollisen mahdollisuuden nauttia illasta.

The tour takes place at a fixed location in the Rovaniemi area. You'll receive the exact meeting point and pickup details in your booking confirmation. Please be ready on time, we have several pickups and cannot wait for late arrivals.
Important Notes
- Solo travellers are welcome to book. Each tour requires a minimum of 2 participants to run. If the minimum is not reached, the tour will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
- Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon and a sighting can never be guaranteed. The guide reads the conditions to give you the best possible chance.
- If weather conditions make it unlikely to see the aurora, we will cancel the tour and provide a full refund.
- By participating you agree that photos taken on the trip may be used publicly on our website and social media channels.
- The evening lasts several hours, consider whether it is suitable for young children.
- Late arrival results in cancellation of the excursion without compensation.
